Tubular Design

Effectrode is fueled by a sense of nostalgia and fascination with the tone, clean lines and simplicity of classic and vintage tube gear. This inspired me to pursue an alternative path to design effects that would have been built if the transistor had not been invented and tube technology had continued developing. Each pedal is built on a 100% analog signal path using modern audiophile grade electronic components and tubes operating at amp plate voltages. These are serious pedals for discerning musicians seeking unique and exceptional performance from effects in high-end guitar/amp rigs.

Clarity, Warmth and Fidelity

From the 50's up until the present day many of the world's finest studio compressors, pre-amp stages and reverb units have been built on tube technology. The warmth, clarity and fidelity of tone is almost certainly the reason these devices have stood the test of time to become highly desirable and collectable classics today. I wanted to reproduce this level of audio performance in a pedal format, which led to me to create Effectrode where we now build effects with pride and attention to what's important - rich, natural and musical tone.
