Hi Phil, What is the average lifespan (excluding mishandling) of the NOS valves? Generally speaking, have you encountered any duty being levied on your pedals when shipping to Asia? Regards, Debargho

Hi DebarghoFrom our frequently asked question page: If operated well within their ratings, good quality signal tubes can last 100,000 hours or more; that’s well over 11 years of continuous use. To extend tube life, we recommend that the pedal is allowed to warm-up for at least one minute after being switched on. This is to allow the heater filament in the tube to heat the cathode, which is coated with a layer of barium and strontium oxide. This oxide layer gets torn off the cathode, a process known as cathode stripping, if the cathode has not reached it’s correct operating temperature, ultimately shortening tube life.I'm not sure what import duty and tax is for Asia.RegardsPhil

Hi Debargho,Yes, we do combine shipping. I can't give you details on the delay at the moment. The project is on hold while I complete some other pedal designs. Will post info as soon as I can on our site. It will happen, it's just taking longer than expected.Phil

Hi Phil, I live in Kolkata India and I would like to buy the PC2A. But, I have a few queries about it and was wondering if you will be so kind as to answer them for me please?I use a '57 Strat with a Laney Cub12R amp. Is there any noise at low levels from the pedal, for a bedroom setup such as mine? Does the pedal come with a power supply? Because in India we require a different adaptor to the UK or USA versions, would you be able to supply a suitable adapter which is suitable for India, please? What kind of power supply unit supports this pedal? Shipping: do you ship your products via normal post for international customers? I'm slightly concerned about the package getting lost in transit.Your reply shall be much appreciated.Regards, Debargho

Hi Debargho,The PC-2A is very quiet for a compressor (you can read more about this in a our reviews page). All pedals ship with an international power supply. We ususally use Fedex for shipping who are very efficient. Just let me know if you have any other questions. Regards, Phil

Hi Andrew, We don't build pedal boards - sorry. There are plenty of other people that do though.
