Description

The Atomic™ Isolated Power Supply is specially built to power tube pedals. Tube pedals are much more power-hungry than their solid-state counterparts and require a beefier power to operate properly. This is because of the tube heaters and high voltage operation. To get an idea, take a look at the size of the power transformers inside a vintage or boutique tube amp. The Atomic supplies a massive 6 amps, that’s enough electron juice to power up to four of our tube pedals without compromising tone quality.

FEATURES

High Power: Delivers a colossal 6 Amps (6000mA!) at 12VDC output to power up to four Effectrode pedals.
“Soft-start”: Soft-starts at 6VDC to preheat the tube heaters.This eliminates tube heater filament flash and extends tube life.
Configurable: One output can be configured to power 9V centre negative pedals.
Regulated and smoothed: Power output is fully reulated to remove all residual electrical noise.
Includes pedal board mounting brackets
Operates anywhere in the world from 110-250VAC. No more step up or step down transformers.
Solid diecast aluminium case
Fully isolated outlets completely eliminate earth loop hum.
Short circuit/overload protection protects your tube pedals from damage should they inadvertently be connected reverse polarity (some day all power supplies will be made like this!).
Includes country-appropriate IEC power cable and four DC power leads.

COMPATABILITY LIST

The Atomic power supply is compatible with all Effectrode pedals (miniature and subminiature). It’s also been tested with the following pedals by other manufacturers:

We’ll keep adding to this list as we and our customers test other pedals out.

WARNING!!! Disconnect the mains power cable before removing the rear panel of the Atomic power supply. There are hazardous voltages inside this unit which can result in injury or death. If you are uncertain about what you are doing, please seek advice from a properly qualified electrical engineer.

I spent the evening with the new Atomic Power Supplies and am so pleased with them. It brings everything to life and in between playing – dead silence. Absolutely night and day difference. Well done and thank you both!

I have 4 Effectrode pedals and the need for power is huge . I could not feed the 4 correctly but I confirm that since I install the Atomic under my pedalboard I am a happy man and the serene spirit 🥳 Thank you Phil for all these wonders 😍
