Description

The Atomic Power Supply was built because properly designed tube pedals require much more power than solid-state effects because of the tube heaters and high voltage operation. To get an idea take a look at the size of the transformers inside a vintage or boutique tube amp. The Atomic supplies a massive 6 amps – enough energy to power up to four of our tube pedals without compromising tone quality.

Operates anywhere in the world from 110-250VAC. No more step up or step down transformers.
Solid diecast aluminium case
Fully isolated outlets completely eliminate earth loop hum
Short circuit/overload protection protects your tube pedals from damage should they inadvertently be connected reverse polarity (some day all power supplies will be made like this!).
One of the outputs can be configured to power 9V centre negative pedals (see note below)

COMPATABILITY LIST

The Atomic Power Supply is compatible with all Effectrode pedals (miniature and subminiature). It has also been tested with the following pedals by other manufacturers:

Vertex Axis Wah (9V)

I’ll add to this list as we and our customers test other pedals out.

WARNING!!! Before removing the rear panel of this Atomic, completely isolate it from the mains by disconnecting the mains power cable as there are hazardous voltages within this unit which could cause injury or death. If you are uncertain about what you are doing please seek advice from a properly qualified electrical engineer.

I spent the evening with the new Atomic Power Supplies and am so pleased with them. It brings everything to life and in between playing – dead silence. Absolutely night and day difference. Well done and thank you both!

I have 4 Effectrode pedals and the need for power is huge . I could not feed the 4 correctly but I confirm that since I install the Atomic under my pedalboard I am a happy man and the serene spirit 🥳 Thank you Phil for all these wonders 😍
